In two years’ time, Starbucks didn’t rise or fall. 400 million giants became the most disappointing game of their generation.

In Bethesda ‘ s vision, Starfield should be a return after years. Before the game was sold, Xbox prepared an unprecedented marketing campaign for it and even hired the Monroe Band to support it. Large-scale marketing has also raised the expectations of fans and players, yet the actual performance of the game after its sale has been such that it has not been able to win a strong market response.

Almost two years after the game was launched in September 2023, the Astronaut’s assessment on steam was still “unsatisfactory”, with a positive rate of 58 per cent. Today, fans are claiming that the Star Sky is one of the most popular games of our generation, and that the results are disappointing.

The stars carry great expectations. B fans are looking forward to this being Microsoft’s largest flagship work in many years, to match the many good solo games under Sony’s banner. As a well-known game developer in the industry, Society B did not launch a big book after Axis 5, a decade of silence that gave Xbox and investors the same high expectations. Especially in view of the fact that after the acquisition of Microsoft in 2022, Society B is in dire need of a heavy-pound piece to prove its strength.

In a post at the ResetEra Forum, the player was asked about the biggest disillusionment game of the generation, the star sky being the number one candidate, amply demonstrating that the game did not meet expectations. Most of the players criticized the lack of innovation in Star Sky and felt more like an ordinary RPG game in space. While there are some bright spots, such as space battles and the vast space of the universe that can be explored, that is all, and the short plates are more obvious.

The promise by B to bring about an unforgettable space adventure has failed to materialize both in terms of storytelling and as a whole. The game is large, with a budget of about $400 million, and the players have high hopes for it, but ultimately the game is boring and mediocre. However, Bethesda continues to support Star Sky and is even expected to land the game on PS5 later this year.
